Opposition leader Juan Guaido issued a new call for Venezuelans to take to the streets in protest against the Maduro government starting on November 25.
Guaido made the call in the tweet below:

This Monday [November 25], at twelve o’clock noon, let us all take part in a simultaneous protest on the mains streets of the country in every municipality.
The success of the sustained and permanent protest [depends on us all].
Guaido rocketed to the top of the country’s political ladder earlier this year, promising to resolve the stalemate that has paralyzed the country since Maduro came to power in 2013. However, nearly a year on, the fact that the Maduro regime remains firmly entrenched in power has shaken the early optimism that many Venezuelans felt for Guaido.
One of the consequences of this is what appears to be a lack of enthusiasm for massive protests like the ones that shook the country in 2014 and 2017.
WFP: More Money Needed to Help Venezuelans in Colombia
Herve Verhoosel, a spokesperson for the United Nation’s World Food Programme (WFP), said today that the organization needs approximately $200 million to help the increasing number of Venezuelan migrants living in Colombia.
According to Verhoosel, one of the phenomenon that the massive displacement of Venezuelans into the neighbouring country has engendered is “survival” sex work. Verhoosel said:
Some of the families who don’t have money, especially if women are the head of the family…will basically do whatever is possible to have either food or money to buy food.

According to WFP, 4.6 million Venezuelans have now left the country. Nearly 1.5 million of them live in Colombia, 385,000 in Ecuador.
The WFP appeal is part of a larger Refugee and Migrant Response Plan initiative; its $1.35 billion budget involves 137 organizations in 17 countries and aims to support four million migrants next year.
